STORM CIARÁN 2.11.23

Storm damage from Storm Ciarán that passed through Jersey on 2.11.23. Images from the West Coast including St Ouen’s Bay and the Railway Walk en route to Corbiere. Trees down at Val de la Mare Reservoir and La Grande Route de St Ouen. Also preparatory work carried out in St Aubin’s on Wednesday night 1.11.23. Storm Ciarán ripped through the island in the early hours of Thursday morning causing massive structural damage in the eastern parishes and caused environmental damage islandwide. Many trees had fallen during the storm blocking many roads. Jersey Met had recorded wind speeds up to 104mph.
